On this day last year…I found Calli! For those of you that are new around here, Calli is my sweet rescue pup that I found in the woods in my parents backyard. For her entire rescue story, you can head to this post. I think it’s worth the read, if I do say so myself lol. Also I’m just obsessed with her, so I may be a little bias. Here is a photo of us the very moment I caught her!
I’ve mentioned this before but Calli has given me consistency and so much joy in this last year. She is the sweetest pup with some serious sass and LOTS of Love to give! We absolutely cannot imagine life without her.
I don’t know what her life was like before she entered my world. I wish I did.
We talk about it ALL the time.
Where did she come from?
Who were her owners?
How was she treated?
Why was she outside in the cold last January?
Did she run away?
Was she dumped?
Did anyone look for her?
All questions we will probably never have answers to, but that’s okay. We’ve come to accept that.
One thing that we do know for certain is that she is VERY Loved now! She will forever sleep in a warm, cozy bed, get plenty of food and water, enjoy treats on occasion, and have endless hugs, kisses, and cuddles!
