I struggled with acne and scarring growing up, so finding a skincare routine that worked for me was such a relief.

It took a few years of going to the dermatologist and trying endless different products. Eventually, I figured out what works for my skin and I’ve stuck to it for years on end.

Don’t get me wrong, I still have the occasional breakout. Everyone does.

But this daily routine has really helped me.

I’m obviously no dermatologist or skin expert of any kind, so here is my unprofessional advice on skincare lol.

1. Clearasil Rapid Rescue Deep Treatment Scrub

This stuff is amazing. It’s a gentle exfoliator, which I love because I can feel the little beads cleaning everything off my skin.

I put some water on my face, use about an almond size dollop, and gently apply. (Rinse after obviously)

I don’t scrub super hard since it does have those beads throughout. Just a gentle massage!

Naz is hooked on this stuff too, I’m not alone! He always uses it right after he’s done at the gym.

2. Neutrogena Make Up Remover (Only at night)

The skin around my eyes is extremely sensitive, and this is the only make up remover that doesn’t irritate it.

Others I’ve tried have made my skin burn or get super dry afterward.

Everyone’s skin is different so if yours is sensitive, this might be something to try!

3. Benzoyl Peroxide 10%

This works wonders. Right now I have the Clean and Clear brand, but there are tons of off brands and what not that work just as well! I always just look for the active ingredient (it usually says right on the front and the bottles are all about this size/shape) and then I choose the cheapest one lol.

I use about a pea size amount on my whole face every morning and night, and it can be used as a face mask or spot treatment when need be.

It can dry your face out a bit though, so I highly recommend putting on moisturizer after!

4. Eucerin Advanced Repair

This probably isn’t your typical moisturizer. I feel like everyone always has cute fancy kinds, but this is my all time favorite! I mentioned it in my 10 Things I Can’t Live Without post, but seriously this stuff is amazing.

I started using it about a year ago when I was having problems with the skin on my neck getting super dry (still have no idea why haha) and this was my saving grace.

It makes my skin really soft and instantly fixes any dry spots I may have.

5. Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+

I started using this product a couple years ago when my mom and I each got a little sample size in a gift basket that came with another purchase.

We both instantly Loved it and haven’t gone a day without it since then!

I know I’m only 22 years old and probably don’t need an anti-aging cream yet; however, I don’t think you can start too early.

Having clear skin brings so much more confidence and comfort on a daily basis. I think finding skincare products that work for you is so relieving and really eliminates a lot of stress.

Which also helps with acne because sometimes those breakouts come from stress too!

Heres to hoping this was helpful for anyone looking to try something new for their skin!

Happy Memorial Day weekend people!
